About the role: This is an opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to join Flogas Enterprise, the division of Flogas that works with industrial and commercial customers and renewable energy producers.
Reporting to the Head of Key Accounts, we are looking for the right person to join our high-performance key-account team in the fast-paced, ever changing commercial energy sector.
This role involves working strategically to develop, maintain and expand relationships with some of Irelands largest energy consumers, who in turn have a strategic role to play in the transition to a more sustainable energy future.
The role involves a mix of strategic new business development and managing current customers, providing consultative advice and guidance and ensuring the highest possible level of customer service and account support, while delivering on challenging financial goals for Flogas group.
  Key Responsibilities: Responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding account relationships with a portfolio of large energy consuming businesses and energy producers.
Initiate targeted business development activities, identifying large gas and electricity user prospects, particularly focusing on key strategic accounts with ambitious net zero carbon targets.
Promote and develop strong cross-functional relationships within Flogas, fostering communication at all levels to ensure expectations on service are exceeded.
Develop strong proficiency on energy services offerings, including energy products, Renewables, PPA's, Solar, biomethane etc.
with support from product specialists and subject matter experts within the business.
Represent Flogas Group at a senior level in negotiation with managed accounts and customer prospects.
Champion the voice of the customer in influencing new product & proposition development and customer service improvement initiatives.
Utilize detailed knowledge of products and thorough knowledge of clients' business to consult and provide solutions that will increase value and promote long-lasting relationships with ROI for clients.
Deliver on key quarterly and annual financial and growth KPIs related to customer retention, growth and new business development.
Develop detailed account plans for new and existing customers to help identify and implement energy transition opportunities i.e.
Biomethane supply, Solar, CPPAs etc.
Contribute and lead as required on market events, market updates, customer/prospect presentations and webinars etc.
Work closely with Marketing/PR team to identify opportunities for internal and external promotion around customer success stories and testimonials.
  Candidate Profile: Ideally this candidate will hold a third level qualification in a business or sales discipline and will have a genuine passion for the ever-changing energy sector.
This candidate will be excited by the opportunity to help customers on their journey to more sustainable energy choices.
The person will have strong financial awareness, a focus on results and proven commercial sales experience, ideally in the energy industry, as well as a track record of delivering on challenging targets and KPIs.
They will be self-motivated, as well as comfortable with working collaboratively in a team environment.
They should be proactive and organised in driving business development and account management efforts.
And they will have strong negotiation, communications and presentation skills.
This person will demonstrate a passion to succeed and the motivation to continue to learn and grow in their career.
