Lucan Spa Hotel are currently recruiting for a part time Kitchen Porter to join our Kitchen team.
Objective of the Role Reporting to the Head Chef and Sous Chefs within the kitchen department, the Kitchen Porter will support the Kitchen team with the day-to-day operations whilst maintaining a high-level of cleanliness in order to facilitate the operations of the kitchen to provide 100% quality service to guests at all times.
Primary duties and responsibilities To organise all kitchen equipment and ensure availability of all items at all times To ensure that the highest standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the kitchen and back of house areas at all times including the recycle and waste areas.
To work alongside the Chef team in following all HACCP Standards and Procedures.
Requirements Previous experience working in a kitchen is preferable.
Ability to work as part of a team and on your own in a fast-paced environment.
An understanding of Kitchen HACCP and Health & Safety.
The ability to adapt to change and work well under pressure.
To understand spoken and written English.
