Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our TSMS (Technical Services and Manufacturing Sciences) Lab.
This role involves supporting various technical services activities, ensuring the lab operates efficiently while adhering to the highest standards of quality and compliance.ResponsibilitiesPrepare media, buffers, and analytical reagents.Operate autoclaving equipment and part washers.Perform cleaning tasks, including incubators, biosafety cabinets (BSCs), and water baths.Maintain lab organization and tidiness.Manage ordering of consumables and raw materials.Oversee sample receipt and shipping.Coordinate vendor preventive maintenance (PM) activities.Support analytical testing processes.Assemble bioreactors.Conduct routine equipment calibrations (e.g., pH meters, balances).Perform stock checks and manage inventory.Review process data integrity.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.Minimum of 1 year's relevant experience in a technical services, microbiology, or biochemistry laboratory.Strong knowledge and practical application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).Excellent organizational skills.Experience documenting and recording scientific studies; familiarity with data integrity and electronic lab notebook systems is advantageous.Proven experience in maintaining laboratory safety standards.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Who You AreYou are a motivated and meticulous professional with a passion for laboratory work and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
