Advancing possibilities for a brighter tomorrow Job Purpose This position has the primary role is assisting with all duties relating to Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities Perform Environmental Monitoring at the plant (Microbial, Particulate, Water).
Perform product testing (Bioburden and Endotoxin).
Perform product validations.
Collect, compile and analyse data and prepare laboratory reports.
Assist in any investigations into out of specification results.
Involvement in ordering materials for laboratory.
Maintain 5S standards in the Microbiology laboratory and office area.
Support the business with regard to process improvements and quality improvements.
Ensure compliance to BSC Cork, Corporate and Regulatory requirements.
Education & Experience Minimum Level 7 is required Microbiology or similar courses Strong analytical and reporting skills Quality Systems Requirements In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable: Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.)
are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
