Laboratory Technician - S2

Purpose Statement This position has the primary role of assisting with all duties relating to Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities: Perform or Review Environmental Monitoring at the plant (Microbial, Particulate, Water).Perform or Review product testing (Bioburden and Endotoxin).Perform or Review product validations.Collect, compile and analyse data and prepare laboratory reports.Assist in any investigations into out of specification results.Involvement in ordering materials for laboratory.Maintain 5S standards in the Microbiology laboratory and office area.Support the business with regard to process improvements and quality improvements.Ensure compliance to BSC Cork, Corporate and Regulatory requirements.Exposure to Bioburden and Endotoxin monitoring.Good team player, organised, accurate, excellent documentation skills.Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.Education & Experience: Third level qualification in Science, Microbiology or related discipline.Ideally 2 years work experience within a GMP environment.Ability to work on own initiative.Strong Team Player and excellent collaborator.Experience in investigation and problem solving.
