Lead Architect

Lead Architect We are seeking a self-motivated individual with robust communication skills, who brings a passion for applying technical expertise to collaborative and challenging projects. This candidate should be adaptable to the dynamic and fast-paced environment inherent in our clients' sites while prioritizing meeting commitments.
The successful candidate will be involved in projects within the pharmaceutical, semiconductor manufacturing, and data center facilities. Projects include feasibility studies, long-range planning studies, and full design services including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build projects.
Responsibilities
• Lead plant design activities independently, serving as an area/system leader and coordinating with multi-discipline designers.
• Execute Architectural design work across various engineering disciplines within 2D/3D integrated design systems.
• Conduct quality review checks for 2D/3D modeling and Architectural deliverables.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and vendor bid evaluations.
• Assist in generating comprehensive proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets for projects.
• Act as a proactive architect experienced in all project delivery stages (schematic design, site master planning, design development, and construction).
• High degree of proficiency and speed in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Understand local permitting legislation, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
• Develop effort-hour estimates for the Architectural discipline.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, thriving in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Qualifications
• 10+ years' Experience leading large Pharma or Technical Projects
• Preferably possess experience in the pharmaceutical or large-scale industrial sector.
• Demonstrate experience in equipment layout definition.
• Proficient in the Microsoft suite, with expertise in Excel.
• Showcase strong, relevant architectural design experience in the industrial/advanced technology sector.
• Possess knowledge of Architectural-specific design standards and building regulations.
• Capable of interacting effectively with engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.
• Experience using REVIT and BIM is desirable.
• Familiarity with BCaR.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an RIAI-registered Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
