Lead Barista

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Barista to join our dynamic culinary team in a premier hospitality space.
In this role, you will provide exceptional service, manage daily barista operations, support special events, and collaborate with our culinary and event teams to deliver unique and welcoming guest experiences.
Monday - Friday role Location : Dublin City Centre Competitive salary and company benefits Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage barista team to ensure the delivery of high-quality beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Train and mentor team members on beverage preparation, latte art, and service standards.
Develop and introduce seasonal and featured beverages, contributing to the innovation of our menu.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized barista station, following sanitation and safety protocols.
Oversee inventory, ordering, and ensure proper stock levels for the bar and kitchen.
Support evening events as needed, providing beverage service and coordinating team coverage.
Communicate effectively with management, team members, and guests to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure consistency in beverage quality and guest experience across all shifts.
Handle POS system, take orders, manage adjustments, and produce necessary reports.
Assist with waste reduction initiatives and continually improve operational efficiency.
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on hospitality and collaboration.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of specialty coffee barista experience with strong espresso knowledge, milk steaming, and drink preparation.
At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or trainer role within a coffee bar environment.
Experience working at special events and in a high-end hospitality, culinary, or retail setting.
Strong interpersonal and guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality.
Ability to train, provide feedback, and ensure high performance from the team.
Knowledge of current coffee and tea trends.
Food handling certification (or ability to obtain).
Experience with technology tools like G Suite, Slack, and POS systems.
