The Opportunity Portfolio Underwriting Lead for Enterprise digital solutions within the context of our Enterprise Strategy with the main focus on Enterprise future digital roadmap planning, identifying, analysing and defining business requirements, involvement in design solutions as well as primary point of communication for key business stakeholders for those activities. This role is a hybrid role and can be fulfilled mainly remotely, with attendance in the office agreed in advance on an occasional basis for Enterprise team meetings, project meetings, training, workshops and ad hoc collaborative meetings.
Role Responsibilities Portfolio Underwriting Lead for Enterprise Digital PlatformsKey stakeholder in future digital road map planningConsult with management and stakeholders in terms of prioritisation of IT solutionsCoordinate key stakeholders in identifying, analysing and defining business requirementsUnderstand steering and technical needs and be able to prioritise, communicate and formulate these needs into requirementsAct as the primary point of communication between internal and external parties on Enterprise digital platformsStay up to date about trends and technical developments both internally (within Allianz Group) and externally in the local market and consider opportunities and potential risksSupport the Portfolio Steering Team on other initiatives/tasks as follows:Annual Corporate Planning & Quarterly Re-ForecastingMonitor portfolio performance and emerging trends and actively observe external developments that may impact on our businessMonthly/Quarterly Reporting, Analysis & ActionsActively lead in projects and other initiatives as requiredAdditionally:Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the team, other areas of the business and external stakeholdersProactively engage and ensure open and ongoing communications with all stakeholders.Be proactive in identifying ways to improve processes and procedures to help make us more efficient and effective in what we doCommitment to work towards relevant Allianz Group accreditationPrior experience as business lead in a digital platform projectCommitment to continuous digitalisation as well as improvement of quality and efficiencyExcellent communication and negotiation skillsDemonstrates strong commercial awareness and an appreciation of the interdependencies between your work and what's happening in the organisation, the industry and the wider economy.A minimum of 4 years' experience in an insurance related industryStrong knowledge of digital platformsRegulatory Notice This role is subject to Minimum Competency Code ("MCC") as provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland. A recognised insurance qualification may be required for this position. Appointment to this role will be subject to the requirements provided for by the Central Bank of Ireland. This role is a Control Function (CF-8) and is subject to F&P Standards. This includes the requirements provided for by the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act 2023. The successful candidate will be provided with the relevant Conduct Standards (including Additional Conduct Standards) training, where required.
