Lead Electrical Technician

We are presently recruiting a Lead Electrical Technician for our clients in County Limerick. Working with senior factory management, you would manage a team of 2 Electrical fitters. You will have proven experience working with automated manufacturing or industrial systems, including PLCs / robotics. You will manage the overall activities of the department and will be responsible for all inspections of electrical equipment on site. This is a full-time position, based on site in Newcastlewest, County Limerick.
Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on automated machinery.Identify and resolve technical issues with automated systems.Implement upgrades and modifications to automation systems.Enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety of all machinery.Lead on all preventative maintenance approach with all equipment.Ensure PM plans as per machine supplier.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and systems.Provide training to production staff.Adhere to all safety protocols.Maintain employee performance reviews, setting and sharing best practices.Industry 4.0 thinking.Qualifications and Experiences: A minimum of 5 years work experience in a production environment.Qualified Electrical Fitter with third level qualification.Strong PLC programming knowledge.Strong knowledge of automation, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.Salary is based on experience and open to negotiation.
