An opportunity has arisen within the Business Partnering team for a Lead Finance Business Partner; this position will support a range of business functions across the bank with responsibility for the on-going management, analysis and reporting of costs and capital expenditure, whilst also supporting the team manager on day-to-day deliverables, ad-hoc tasks and reporting.
Responsibilities: Support the delivery of a risk assured, performance focused, operationally excellent Business Partnering function whilst embedding a culture of quality service delivery to all customers & partnerUnderstand each of the key business and cost drivers of the business, articulate and discuss insights with colleagues of varying degrees of seniority, up to and including executive level, and have challenging conversations with key partners.Support the operational delivery of the budgeting and forecasting processes for the bank; support the consolidation and review of management packs for ExCo discussions during the finalisation of cost budgetsProactively suggest and produce MI that will drive greater efficiency and improved resource allocation, cost management and investment across the bankPrepare presentations for key audiences, identify key trends/issues/recommendations and provide support to the business community as requiredDelivery and review of timely, accurate and action orientated operating cost and capital expenditure reporting, incorporating forward looking advice and guidance that provides financial and business insight. Requirements: Holder of a relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc.) with a minimum 3 years PQE.Managerial and/or coaching experience an advantage, capable of developing others.Experience of interpreting business and financial information to support/enable business decisions.Strong organisational and analytical capabilities with a good working knowledge of financial processes/ systems and proven ability to lead the development of same.Proven track record of engaging with and delivering for Finance teams and Senior Management.
