Job DescriptionOur Client is one of Ireland's leading EPCm consultancies and a global player in the Semiconductor, Pharma and Biotech sectors.The role will be based out of the Clients Dublin Office with Flexible Working from home options.The role is for a contract or staff position (Candidates Preference).To lead and work as part of a team and supervising other engineers as required.Attend meetings and interface regularly with clients, project managers and discipline leads to develop the scope of the project.Ensure I&C scope is delivered as per the schedule and executed within the available budget.Develop Basis of Design deliverables such as Specifications, Instrument / IO lists, Panel list and Bill of Materials etc to support +/-10% estimate for the BOD.Develop Detailed Design deliverables and construction packages for I&C contractors.The successful candidate must have strong leadership and planning qualities, be adaptable to change and be comfortable leading cross functional teams delivering to deadlines.Job RequirementsB.Eng in Electrical/Electronics, Control, Physics, Computer Science /Mechatronics or appropriate science/engineering discipline.Post Qualification recent relevant experience in an engineering/projects role in the Pharma/Biotech/Chemical industry.A proven track record in Lead I&C Roles on large projects.Experience with various technologies.Proven track record of project based activities in the pharmaceutical industry.10 years' or more experience with proven track record of delivering the I&C scope on similar type projects.
Good computer-based skills, including Windows knowledge.Instrumentation Specification, Indexes/IO lists, filed network design, panel design, construction packs, FATs etc etcScope development and approvalURS / Specification / SOW generationEquipment specificationTo ensure that all new equipment is bought in accordance with appropriate site procedures & regulations.
The ability to organise, plan and execute multiple tasks to tight schedulesDelivering projects on time and on budget.Experience with equipment procurement.Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities is required.Ability to document own work clearly and preciselyMonitor activity progress for the discipline scope in line with the project objectives, deliverables and timelines and report potential delays including mitigation recommendationsProvide reports on a regular basis for effective communicationPackage Full time Contract or Permanent Position with of the leading Engineering Consultancies in Ireland Salary / Rate negotiable for the right candidate
