Lead Mechanic - EquipmentWhat you can expect: Competitive pay based on experience.Annual increase potential.Company vehicle and gas card.80% of health care cost paid by the Company year round.Short- & long-term disability coverage (company sponsored).401K with a 5% company match.Profit sharing.What you will do: Travel in the field and jobsites and work in the shop as needed (CDL a plus).Plans work procedures (Scheduling) and/or possible solutions such as parts, PM service in conjunction with Equipment Manager.Troubleshoot and maintain all types of heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, reclaim and milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers and rollers.Examine equipment and discuss with superintendent, operator, or project manager the nature and extent of damage or malfunction.Ensure engagement of equipment team in all safety best practices, ensure compliance with all company policies and safety rules. Conduct safety training and toolbox talks.Work closely with all equipment manufacturers to keep up with new technology.Work Location: Waterford, VT
