Lead Operations Officer

Oliver James has partnered with a leading financial institution to appoint a Lead Operations Officer to join their highly motivated team where data serves as the critical foundation in delivering excellent customer service. We are currently seeking candidates to assist in implementing new processes within a Settlements and Middle Office teams. The successful candidates will be responsible for: Supporting the Settlements and Middle Office teams by updating Standard Settlement Instructions and amending static data to ensure the smooth settlement of trades.Conducting investigations into any ad hoc issues where trades do not feed Straight-Through Processing (STP).Ensuring daily queries are resolved and cleared from the queue.Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in Operations (e.g., Settlements, Trade Support, Back/Middle Office).Experience with SWIFT messaging, with the ability to demonstrate effective teamwork within an Operations environment.Strong time management skills.A positive, "can-do" mindset.Additional experience with UIPath or Alteryx for process improvement is beneficial but not essential.If you are interested in joining a dynamic team and contributing to a world-class financial institution, please click the apply button below.
