We design and manufacture aviation-grade drones in-house, enabling direct delivery of food and essential items from restaurants, centralized kitchens, and local stores to consumers' homes.
Role Overview As Lead Software Engineer, you will contribute to the architecture and the development of critical systems that support our drone delivery operations. This role spans multiple domains including airspace utilisation, ground control systems, order management, and integration with partner platforms. You'll be responsible for building robust, scalable solutions that form the backbone of our drone delivery ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Design and architect scalable, fault-tolerant systems handling real-time drone operationsContribute to critical technical decisions about infrastructure, frameworks, and development practicesEstablish technical standards, best practices, and architecture patternsLead and mentor software engineersRequired Qualifications 5+ years industry experienceStrong expertise in our core tech stack:Backend: Java, Spring Framework, Python, C++Frontend: TypeScript, React, React NativeDatabase: PostgreSQLCloud Services: AWSTrack record of leading successful technical projects and mentoring engineersStrong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithmsExperience with real-time systems and location-based services
