Role Purpose: The Learning and Development Adviser is responsible for the coordination of an array of learning and organisation development programmes, working to ensure Concern's people have the skills and competencies required to meet existing and future organisational needs. Responsibilities: Coordinate the delivery of Pathway, Concern's six-month management development programme which is delivered in-person to over 100 managers across Concern annually. This involves liaising with country teams, managers of all levels, participants, and external Consultants, ensuring delivery of all programme elements.Coordinate and facilitate Concern's induction programme, both online and in-person. Work with different departments across Concern to review existing and develop new induction content to ensure it meets the learning needs of new staff.Liaise with teams across Concern to support the development of learning content and resources for staff. Proof learning content to ensure it is as inclusive and accessible as possible.Responsible for maintaining strategic relationships with external language training providers and learning institutions to ensure Concern has access to a wide variety of learning initiatives and training opportunities.Promote a positive approach to learning and organisation development within Concern, by providing advice on people and team development matters to country teams, managers of all levels, and colleagues across Concern.Stay up to date on trends and developments within the sector, researching and using best practice of similar and successful companies and organisations as benchmarks.Accept, advance and pursue any new objectives or responsibilities that may be assigned by the Learning Manager.All staff are responsible for upholding and promoting Concern's values, including our workplace equality, diversity and inclusion, and safeguarding values.All staff are required to participate and contribute as necessary towards Concern's emergency response as and when required.Role Holder Requirements: A third level qualificationProven experience working in a learning and organisation development or HR role with experience coordinating learning and development programmesDemonstrable organisational skills, attention to detail and proven problem-solving skillsProven excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with ability to establish credibility and influence othersExcellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skillsEmpathy with the organisational goals of Concern WorldwideFluency in written and spoken FrenchExperience managing blended learning programmes across multiple countriesPrevious experience in the INGO sectorChartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) or Learning and Development Institute (L&DI) qualification or similarCandidates are expected to demonstrate abilities in the following priority competency areas (highlight 3-4 competencies in bold as appropriate):
