Legal Secretary | Dublin 18 | 35-40K A prominent client based in Dublin 18 is currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting fee earners and carrying out the duties outlined below while covering various areas of Law in a general practice.
Key Responsibilities: Document Preparation: Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and other materials.Dictation, knowledge of CMS system & Litigation experience required.Calendar Management: Manage and update solicitors' calendars, including scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines.Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and scheduling meetings or consultations.File Management: Maintain and organize paper and electronic files, ensuring documents are easily accessible.Legal Research: Assist solicitors in legal research, document retrieval, and other research tasks.Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with various courts and agencies as required.Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and always maintain confidentiality.Team Support: Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.Key Skills: Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document types.Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal software, and document management systems.Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on new responsibilities.This is an excellent opportunity for a legal candidate looking to join a legal office, where your work and input are acknowledged and valued, and where you will progress in your career.
