Accounts Payable Manager 12 Month Contract, Co. Carlow The main duties and responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Manager role include: Lead, manage and develop the Accounts Payable team (currently 6 staff).
Direct and oversee the payment of suppliers in compliance with contractual obligations, tax legislation including VAT, RCT and PSWT, and Prompt Payment of Accounts legislation.
Oversee operation of the Purchase Ledger including master data, fraud prevention controls, data protection and system upgrades.
Manage the contract with our Accounts Payable external service provider including re-tendering at appropriate intervals in compliance with procurement regulations, Develop and maintain all requisite policy and procedure documentation and controls for Accounts Payable in line with best practice, The Person Detailed knowledge of best practice Accounts Payable operations and processes Excellent communication skills Knowledge of relevant tax regulations including VAT, PSWT, RCT, tax clearance requirements Proven ability to lead and manage change, automation and process improvements Organisational skills and attention to detail
