Assistant Accountant Ballymount, Dublin 12 Permanent Salary: €45,000 - €55,000 Hybrid Working My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.
Candidates should ideally be studying towards their professional exams.
A good working knowledge of Excel is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities: Support with the production of accurate, complete and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
Responsible for accrual and prepayment journals postings and supporting documentation.
Manage the reconciliation of the bank and fixed assets register, including depreciation postings.
Reconcile monthly intercompany balances.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Support the audit process Maintain and report loan balances between Group companies and interest payments.
Key Skills: Studying IATI/ACCA/CIMA 1st/2nd stage Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel Strong communications skills Strong planning and time management skills Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
