Kilcoran Lodge Leisure Centre is looking for a Leisure Centre Manager to join our team.
Salary:€35000-€40000 depending on experience Kilcoran Lodge Leisure Centre is situated just outside Cahir Co. Tipperary, it hosts a 14-Meter Heated Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and fully equipped Gym.
We offer a wide range of classes, including Private and Group Swimming lessons and Aqua Aerobics.
Work Activities: Providing leadership across all aspects of the centre.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety and legal requirements.
Hiring and training team members, ensuring their development and ensure that all members are compliant with necessary qualification for their job.
Ensure that own and staff members qualifications are kept up to date Creating weekly staff duty rosters ensuring that leisure centre is correctly staffed at all times.
Ensure that all equipment is maintained proper working order and operated in a safe manner.
Ensure that equipment maintenance requirements are communicated to Maintenance department as they arise.
Ensure leisure centre is operated is an efficient and cost-effective manner Purchasing materials and equipment.
Organising classes and events.
Teaching classes Provide input to Sales, Promotions & Events manager of leisure centre activities and promotions.
The Ideal Candidate: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
In-depth knowledge of leisure operations, including treatment protocols, scheduling and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications: Pool Plant Operator Swim Teacher level 2 Aqua Aerobics Instructor Occupational First Aid & CPR NCEF or Relevant Gym Qualification.
