Role Purpose: Responsible for ensuring that the works are completed in accordance with the safety rules, safely, on time and to the highest standards.
The PICW is in immediate and direct charge of the works and of the people who are carrying out the works.
Hourly Rate and Employee Schemes: Pension planEmployee assistance programmeEducational assistanceLife assurance - 4 times your annual salaryCycle to work schemeEmployee discounts - on hotels, gyms, electronics and moreCareer progression opportunitiesChristmas savings clubResponsibilities: Compliance with Murphy's Health and Safety procedures and our Zero Harm Policy.Safety reporting.Carry out Permit to Work/Telemess procedure for team.Ensure Job Site Safety Plan is completed with team.Review the Network Diagram and Outage Request before issuing Permit to Work/Telemess to Network Operator.Ensuring their team are working in accordance with the safety rules.Climbing poles, pylons and working at heights.Operating and maintaining tools and equipment.Carry out maintenance, repair and refurbishment of Overhead lines as directed.Ensure all work under their control is completed to client specification.Ensure all daily work is completed as per daily work pack issued.Complete safety and quality checks before control of line is handed back to Network Operator.Prerequisites: Minimum 4 years' experience (2 years' as trainee Lineworker and 2 years' as a Lineworker).Completed relevant ESB training and assessments.Full Clean Driving license.Ability to read and understand the Electricity Network Diagram.
