Logistics Assistant

Logistics Assistant Location: Dublin 12 Salary: €30K depending on the candidates experience.
Working hours: 8am 5pm Monday to Friday.
**Note: This is a physical job which requires significant manual handling** Our clients business specialises in buying and selling pre-owned luxury accessories.
The company is an international leader in pre-owned luxury distribution and has offices in Europe, Northern America and Asia.
Our client is currently seeking a Logistics Assistant for their growing business.
Duties: Handling and inspecting goods in and out.
Organizing storage in line with the warehouse plan.
Packing and dispatching products.
Managing associated administrative tasks.
Assisting in achieving quality and KPI targets.
Working independently in the absence of a supervisor.
Communicating effectively with Supervisors and Managers regarding customer, product, and shipping issues.
Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
Supporting other business areas as needed.
Skills Required: Experience in handling and storage of products.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to urgent requirements.
Knowledge of SAP (desirable).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong administrative and computer skills.
Understanding of warehouse operations.
Ability to organize work to meet deadlines.
Flexible attitude towards work and working hours.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Current driving license (desirable).
Proactive approach with a can-do attitude.

Sense of responsibility.

Ability and willingness to work in a warehouse-type position.
Personal Qualities: Interest in logistics and international environments.

Education level: Practical experience is essential.
Any degree in logistics is a strong plus.
