Job Scope: The primary role of the Van Driver is to transport and deliver medical products directly to customers and community pharmacies in accordance with procedures, thus ensuring the customer/client service level agreements are managed effectively.
The role currently requires a Mon to Fri working pattern.
Key Responsibilities: Responsible for securely storing product for each delivery in the vehicle.
Control and cross check stock for each dispatch.
Report & monitor any vehicle temperature deviations.
Educate and train customers, where appropriate, on cold chain maintenance / Waste management and any other relevant service provided.
Develop and maintain a good rapport with customers and key contacts Feedback any issues that may concern the company's ability to operate Good Distribution Practice Drive safely, abiding at all times to the rules of the road Good Vehicle & fridge hygiene - vehicle should be cleaned at least once a week Notify Customer Service and Transport Supervisor for vehicle servicing Responsible for the administration of daily/weekly/monthly documentation for departmental reviews Report all adverse events and product complaints promptly in line with Pharmacovigilance procedures and current legislation.
Maintain customer confidentiality at all times.
Assist in ensuring that continuing quality systems are implemented and maintained within TCP Homecare.
Ensure all GDP tasks are completed timely for month end and quarterly closures Participate in all company training programmes ensuring records are uploaded and SOP's actioned in TCP Academy within the allocated timeframe.
Represents self in a professional and ethical manner at all times, complying with all applicable company policy and procedures.
