Job Purpose
Your role will be to oversee our Logistics function, ensuring both present and future outbound service provision is completely aligned to Integrated Supply Chain and Commercial Business Unit objectives. We will look to you to make sure the business enjoys an effective and stable distribution of finished goods into the Dublin fulfilment centre.
Job Responsibilities
• Achieve KPI targets linked to Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and People.
• Ensure On-Time In Full (OTIF) distribution of finished goods to customers.
• Oversee Logistics Service Provider partnerships to deliver core KPIs & cost benefit initiatives through regular business review, SLA management, and continuous improvement focus.
• Develop & nurture strong 'one team' working relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders, particularly the commercial organization.
• Promote an 'operational excellence' structured approach to warehouse operations.
• Identify & oversee delivery of continuous improvement cost reduction projects.
• Participate in Cross Cluster and/or Cross Deco UK Projects.
• Nurture & support the professional development of direct and indirect reports.
Job Requirements
• Degree qualification, ideally within supply chain or logistics.
• Expertise in 'operational excellence' or lean methodology.
• Experience of inspiring & motivating teams in warehousing/logistics environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills including effective communication at senior leadership levels.
• Effective at nurturing supplier partner relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of managing complex logistics operations that are compliant and safe.
