For you, for your business, for the planet. Overview: As the Service & Logistics Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for service logistics in Ireland.
You will manage a team of 4 colleagues spread across the country.
Route Planning and Execution - planning the most effective delivery schedules to service 26 counties of Ireland ensuring on Time In Full delivery (OTIF) to all (CIRCA 3,000) Workwear customers each week.
Monitor and report on Key Logistic KPIs, including OTIF and cost efficiency.
Utilise technology and software tools to automate processes and increase efficiency.
Daily Operations Management involves overseeing the day-to-day activities required to ensure smooth business operations.
Coordinating Fleet Movement: Ensuring that vehicles are dispatched efficiently to meet delivery schedules and customer demands.
Work closely with dispatch teams to quickly address any unexpected problems or changes in plans to minimise disruptions and maintain service quality and to ensure complete and timely deliveries to depots.
Lead and manage the logistics team, including drivers, depot leads and dispatch staff.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the logistics function.
Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, customer care and sales, to align logistics strategies with overall business goals.
Working closely and communicating effectively with other departments; laundry, customer care, sales and purchasing to ensure customer and business expectations are met.
Role Requirements A relevant Third Level Qualification or work in a similar role with over 3 years' experience A strong knowledge of systems (ERP, MS Suite; excel, word, CRM, Route Optimisation software) and detailed administration Having previous project management experience is preferable Excellent process implementation and People Management Skills Good written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and grow Team focused collaborative approach to work.
Flexibility to work outside standard hours during peak periods or in response to urgent logistical needs.
