Logistics Planning & Supply Chain ManagerThe EMEIA Logistics team at Apple is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and self-motivated individual for the role of EMEIA Logistics Planning & Supply Chain Manager. In this role, you will oversee a team dedicated to achieving best-in-class end-to-end logistics planning. As a critical conduit between the business teams and Apple's logistics partners, your leadership will ensure seamless planning and execution of logistics operations. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a Manager, or experienced individual contributor, with a background in team leadership, motivation, and development. The ideal candidate will have a consistent record in building cohesive and high-performing teams, as well as in collaborating effectively with partner teams. The primary objective is to ensure that sufficient capacity is available to support business needs, thereby delivering exceptional performance for Apple's customers.
Description: You will be the key liaison between logistics' partner teams and the vendor management functions within the overall team, ensuring the appropriate capacity is in place to support the business. Work cross-functionally within EMEIA Operations to deliver high quality results for our customers. Take ownership for the coordination and planning of new product introductions within logistics. Influence the capital project roadmap to ensure the best possible solutions are being developed to support the planning function. Lead the team in identifying and implementing key projects that achieve targeted measurable benefits in the areas of risk identification, process optimisation, cost saving initiatives, and carbon reduction.
Minimum Qualifications: 10 years+ experience working in a Retail, Logistics, Planning, Finance, Operations environment in a fast moving product industry.Strong people manager with an ability to recognise, attract, develop top talent.Strong organisational skills to meet deadlines and maintain robust management systems to ensure the overall efficiency of the team.Extensive program & project management experience and a continuous improvement focus and a strong aptitude for process automation, consistently driving efficiency and enhancing overall customer experience.Detailed and meticulous, with strong business acumen and consumer focus.Creative problem solver who can embrace new technologies e.g. AI/ML, identify opportunities to optimise existing supply chain and deliver new tools and processes to support scale.Preferred Qualifications: Coordinating new product launches and execution.Leading teams through transformational change.Experience in program management focused on continuous improvement.
