Logistics & Scheduling Supervisor (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical) We are partnering with a leading organisation in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, currently undergoing significant growth and innovation. Role Overview: As the Logistics & Scheduling Supervisor, you will report to the Director of Operations and manage the daily scheduling and logistics of our sampling team. You'll ensure seamless operations, efficient resource allocation, and high standards of client service across the medical device, pharmaceutical, and environmental sectors.
Key Responsibilities: As a Logistics and Scheduling Supervisor, you will:
Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for field teams, ensuring resource efficiency.Adjust schedules to meet client demands, availability, and operational changes.Implement and optimise route planning and scheduling software to improve operational efficiency.Supervise and support field staff, providing training, guidance, and performance appraisals.Liaise with clients to resolve scheduling concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction.Oversee stock management and coordinate with finance on fleet maintenance.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling and logistics processes.Requirements: Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.3-5 years' experience in logistics, scheduling, or operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organisational and leadership skills with an analytical mindset.For more details on this role, feel free to reach out to Emma Cawley
