The Logistics Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics and warehouse department. In this role, you will manage inventory levels, coordinate shipments, ensure accuracy in receiving and dispatching goods, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of inventory including receiving, storage, and trackingCoordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentationMaintain optimal stock levels, conducting regular stock takes and reordering as necessaryImplement and enforce safety procedures and best practices in the warehouseSupervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as neededCollaborate with other departments to improve overall logistics efficiencyUtilize warehouse management systems to track and report on inventory levels, order status, and performance metricsIdentify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracyTo be successful in this role, you should have:
Proven experience as a logistics or warehouse managerStrong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practicesProficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant softwareExcellent leadership and people management skillsAbility to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesGood understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
