My client, a Manufacturing Company based in Athlone, Co. Westmeath are seeking to hire a Machine Operator on an initial 6 month temp contract basis.
Strong views for permanency thereafter.
The role is Monday - Thursday, 6am-4pm.Responsibilities- Efficiently operate various machines and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Set up machines, including loading raw materials, calibrating settings, and conducting test runs to ensure optimal performance.Inspect and monitor products during production to ensure they meet quality standards; adjust machine settings to correct any issues.Perform routine maintenance on machines, identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and make minor repairs as needed.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe work environment.Accurately record production data, machine performance, and any issues or incidents in logs or digital systems.Work closely with other team members, including supervisors and quality control, to ensure smooth production operations.Suggest and implement improvements in the machine operation process to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
