About Our Client: Our client, a leading company based in Cork, is seeking a highly skilled Shift Maintenance Electrician to join their team. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems and machinery during shift hours. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations. Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support production goals. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: Trade certification or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering. Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
