On Behalf of our Manufacturing Client in Limerick, we are currently sourcing a Maintenance Electrician to join their Team. This is a rotating days / evenings role. Job purpose: Duties will include; Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment; responding to emergency machine break downs throughout the plant; new design, installation and relocation of existing equipment. The overhaul and repair of machines and equipment plus ensuring machines and equipment on site are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose is a key part of the role. Automation design and implementation through out the process and new equipment installation and commissioning. Key objectives:
Electrical maintenance, process control, troubleshooting & fault findingImplement scheduled Preventative Maintenance programs on all equipment Carry out wiring installation and commissioning of plant / equipment & trouble shooting of sameCarry out programming and diagnostics of plant and equipmentEnsure all machines and equipment are safe & fit for purposeMinimise downtime on equipment through fast response, effective root cause analysis and strong fault finding skillsActively promote & adhere to safe working practicesCarry out engineering work orders in a timely and safe manner while maintaining adherence to GMPElectrical and Mechanical trouble-shooting & electro-mechanical repairs to PLC controlled plantWork with equipment suppliers on new equipment installations and modificationsContribute to the efficiency of the operation by maximizing uptime of machineryMinimise downtime in production and utility areasMonitor and record the use of spare partsQualifications, Experience & Skills: You will have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship with at least 5 years post apprenticeship experience within a high volume production facility.PLC programing, trouble shooting and fault finding experienceExperience in reading and interpreting electrical drawings essentialExperience working with mechanical systems would be an advantageKnowledge and experience of hydraulics, steam, water and pneumaticsAbility to read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematic drawingsExperience and working knowledge of 5S, SMED, JIT, Standard Work and other Lean tools and systemsIf you have the above skills & experience, please contact ****** / Telephone: 087 2419644 #LI-CD1
