Position: Maintenance Electrician
Location: North Dublin
Cpl is supporting our client partner, a heritage brand in the Food and Beverage industry. The company is based in Northern Cross, Co. Dublin, and due to continued business growth, they have an immediate job vacancy for a Trade Qualified Electrical Technician.
Minimum Requirements: Valid electrical trade certification or NFQ Level 6 equivalent Electrical qualification.The Electrical Maintenance Technician is part of a team of high-performing craft and maintenance professionals. The plant currently runs on a 2-cycle shift pattern:
Shift A - 07:15am to 15:15pmShift B - 15:00pm to 23:30pm (finishing at 21:00pm on Friday)Overtime will be required from time to time to assist with production or preventative/reactive maintenance.
Job Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day engineering services in a busy high-speed Food and Beverage manufacturing environment.Responsible for Zone/Line performance and overall maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery.Multitask and solve problems that arise on site efficiently.Provide cost-effective design solutions for plant and equipment requirements.Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.Deliver a high-quality maintenance service to production.Ensure maintenance works efficiently, effectively, and safely, in line with the maintenance strategy.Ensure tool uptime is above 95%.Plan work activities to improve Line Zone performance in conjunction with the Supervisor/Lead technician.Competent in using PLC for fault finding.Qualifications: At least 3 years' trade experience as an Electrical Maintenance professional.Experience in Food/Beverage processing, FMCG, Bottling, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, or related industries, ideally within a Lean Six Sigma environment.Ability to troubleshoot and repair damaged or poor-performing equipment.Knowledge of ATEX regulations is a distinct advantage.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Proven multitasking and problem-solving skills.PLC/Controller experience (programming is an advantage).National Craft Senior Trades Electrical or Automation Qualification is essential.Flexibility to undertake other work that may be assigned occasionally.Job Specific Duties: Deliver and improve performance targets in safety, quality, service, cost, and asset care.Carry out routine maintenance activities according to the maintenance schedule.Log larger problems revealed during routine maintenance for incorporation in the scheduled maintenance plan.Carry out electrical compliance, statutory maintenance, and shutdown maintenance.Execute project activities in support of engineering capital projects.Record maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure records are up to date.Identify improvements to PM schedules and work with the Maintenance Team Leader and Planner to implement these.Support operational teams in maintenance and cleaning days.Person Specification: Developed Continuous Improvement mindset.Self-aware and driven to deliver beyond expectations.Ability to positively impact and influence with or without direct line authority.Strength of character to challenge poor team behaviours.Proactive, structured, and logical problem-solving skills.If you're interested, please submit your CV for review or email me at ******.
