Maintenance Fitter A leading player in the Industrial manufacturing industry is seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join their team in Cork!

With a workforce in the hundreds and a turnover in the high millions, our client is looking to expand their highly successful team with a talented on-site Maintenance Fitter.
THE ROLE: Based on their site in Cork, the successful Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for: Conducting fault diagnosis, repairs and routine maintenance on plant equipment Carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance as well as being the first responder for mechanical breakdowns on-site Working on motors and gearboxes (up to 125Kw), chain drives, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, mobile plant equipment (log handlers/fork trucks), boilers and drying kilns (low pressure, hot water systems) Manufacturing/ modifying spare parts using milling, turning, welding and other techniques THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to candidates with the following backgrounds: Ideally a strong Mechanical background within the manufacturing or production sector Any strong mechanical background in the areas of Mechanical Fitting, MAMF, Construction Plant, HGV or similar will be seriously considered THE PACKAGE: Salary: €49,000-€55,500 DOE Pension scheme LOCATION: Cork All candidates who are living within a commutable distance to Cork are encouraged to apply!
