Maintenance Fitter - Wastewater Treatment Maintenance

Job DescriptionOur client is Ireland's leading water and wastewater contractor.They design, construct, operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plants.Working as part of a Mechanical Team and supervising contractors for maintenance, repairs and installationsCarry out preventative maintenance work on plantMaintain Engineering area in terms of good house keepingContribute on identification, quantification, implementation and presentation of equipment continuous improvement projectsMaking sure maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with site policies and proceduresTroubleshoot equipment related process problems and equipment failures to determine cause and to investigate repairsEnsure effective completion and ongoing review of planned equipment maintenance routines on MAXIMO (site CMMS)Ensure all executed maintenance activities are recorded on MAXIMO (site CMMS)Support Engineering and Operations personnel on continuous improvements and monitor equipment in order to recommend process improvementsMinimise downtime on equipment, through fast response, effective root cause analysis and good problem solving techniquesEffective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problemsRequirementsMaintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent.Good communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative.Proven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervisionMust be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team and/or on owninitiativeStrong technical capability with attention to detail;Expertise and knowledge of a WWTP would be an advantagePackageSalary €42k-€46k plus overtime depending on experience.
Performance related bonus of up to 5% of salary.
Working hours are 7.30 am to 4 pm Monday-Thursday, 7.30 am to 3 pm on Friday.
