Maintenance Manager - Argentina

FRS Recruitment is now inviting applications for the role of Maintenance Manager for a leading Agri International client and based in Argentina.
This role will be based on a large scale arable farm located outside Buenos Aires.
, this is a full-time permanent role offering attractive benefits and remuneration for the successful candidate.
The role Responsible for the efficient and responsible management of all farming and dehydration plant equipment Manage the day-to-day Maintenance requirements Manage the employees placed in your departmental control Train and mentor staff under your management to develop their skills set and contribution to the business Maximizing value to company for all maintenance carried out, prices agreed and minimizing the wastage of resources placed in individual's control Assist the Plant Manager to ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest industry standards to minimize down time and maximize the efficiency of the business Responsible for job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labor allocation for day-to-day operations Co-ordinate resources, (operational and human) schedules and activities Ensure supplies are ordered for each job Regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns with the farm manager Regularly report on manpower overruns or shortfalls Act as a technical adviser on key projects and other areas of the business as requested Maintain all machinery and equipment to ensure it's operating to the required standards.
Create and implement maintenance plan and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
Develop and execute an effective preventive maintenance plan Ensure schedule is balanced for production targets compliance.
Manage the stores facility for the company, ensuring spare parts inventories and consumable stocks are maintained to mitigate against down time to promote the efficiency of operations Maintain detailed service records of all equipment and vehicle repairs, as well as parts invoices that were required for the repairs.
Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary Provide input to annual maintenance budget & track results to ensure actions are taken to achieve budget Oversee tasks and consumables used according to the budget and check their proper storage.
Ensure follow up on inventory record accuracy and data integrity issues.
Ensure equipment reliability while operating within budget.
Provide problem resolution and determine what external support will be needed to solve problems that exceed your knowledge and/or infrastructure.
Candidate Profile Degree qualified in a related discipline such as Business Management, Agri etc 5 years' experience in a similar role Strong managerial background Interest or background in Agri Farming Remuneration Lucrative tax-free salary , 97 days annual leave , 6 free return flights to and from Argentina to Ireland.
