Role information: Daily management interface with the Hotel managers to ensure service level agreements and key performance indicators are met. Maintain accurate financial controls – raising orders within approved budgets. Provide a clean, safe and secure environment for guests, contractors, staff and colleagues. Ensure that Hotel needs are dealt with effectively and communicated appropriately. Conduct risk assessments on a regular basis. Identifying hazards and taking appropriate action Conduct Safety Audits on a regular basis. Ensure any systems are up to date including training records, health and safety records, maintenance tracking reports, etc. Drive the development of the team. Assist with the regulatory training of all hotel staff – Fire Safety etc Analyse energy bills & usage data providing updates and opportunities to the Director of Engineering for consideration. Requirements: Experience within a similar role. Able to demonstrate sound maintenance and electrical knowledge. Demonstrate leadership skills and able to motivate staff. Health and safety and risk assessment experience. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience of dealing with people at all levels. Sound knowledge of financial controls and budgeting. Focused on and driven to provide the highest quality of customer service. Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Flexible approach to all work activities Ability to manage and motivate others to achieve goals and targets set by the Company Multi-Site experience
