Currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager for my client who are a manufacturing company based in the Dublin area.
The successful candidate will oversee all maintenance works for the region.
This position reports directly to the Regional Associate Director.
The successful candidate will have full control over staff, parts and maintenance programs internally and externally on both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Responsibilities: * Responsible for management & delivery of the maintenance function for production facilities.
* Member of the senior team for the region.
* Manage planned downtime to achieve required plant Up Time per week.
* Maximise machine and equipment output by implementing, operating and maintaining safe and effective preventative maintenance programmes.
* Assume leadership role in the scheduling of shutdown maintenance activities.
* Liaise with the Operations Team and Logistics Management in the development of job plans and receive feedback from completed jobs.
* Responsible for the development, management and implementation of the Routine, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance programme and associated improvement works, including the identification by root causes recurring process incidents for elimination.
* Develop and maintain a Maintenance Management System to optimise site maintenance planning, spare parts management & inventory control, maintenance metrics data collection and reporting.
* Manage maintenance spare parts storeroom including workflows, spares evaluation and metrics to include identifying critical spares, establishing appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels and optimising inventory stock value.
* Cost and relationship management of suppliers and 3rd party providers including the identification of new providers * Provide training to other employees, to assist with their understanding of the process and to aid technical decision making.
Skills Required: * Time served trade or equivalent qualification, and/or third level related discipline e.g.
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree.
* 6+ years' experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
