Job DescriptionOur client are an M&E Contractor who work on major projects in the areas of Mechanical Services, Air Conditioning, Electrical Services and Process Engineering for Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical and Medical ClientsDue to continuous expansion of our clients maintenance division, we now have a requirement for a maintenance manager / engineer.
Role is to be primarily focused in the Leinster region.
However, nationwide travel will be required from time to time.This is a multi-site based role reporting into head office.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance tasks and delivering maintenance project packages from co-ordination to commissioning.In addition to routine maintenance and Service Level Agreement contract delivery candidate will be responsible for delivering small works projects from tender to handover.
Travel will be required depending on project allocation.
Services include Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and plumbing.
Candidate should be familiar with MS Office suite (outlook, word, excel, project) and will be equipped with mobile tablet reporting devices.Candidate must have engineering qualification or relevant trade background.Job RequirementsRelevant 3rd level qualification or trade qualification3+ years experience post qualification essentialExperience in a mechanical/electrical contracting environment essentialPlanning of all resources including labour, materials and sub-contractorsBe commercially astute and develop a good relationship with the commercial teamBe the on-site point of contact for the client/client representative & consulting engineersManage and drive a site team to meet with all project requirements and deadlinesResponsible for the provision of method statements, risk assessments and other relevant documentationDrawing interpretation and reporting skills essentialComply with onsite Permit to Work SystemSupport project managers and maintenance teamMonitor progress against work schedule to identify any issues on the projectsLiaison with suppliers/procurement department to organize plant and equipmentInsure project quality is aligned with client & contract requirementsCommissioning projectsPackageSalary will be in line with qualifications and experience.Pension contributions after 6 months, company car, laptop and phonePermanent Staff Role with excellent career progression
