The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Full-Time Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential for the upkeep of our three properties, activity site, and staff accommodation. You will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks and will have the autonomy to manage your work with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks across all properties, ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and fully operational.Repairs and Upkeep: Carry out repairs and maintenance work, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman duties.Project Management: Assist with larger building projects and renovations, coordinating with contractors and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.Problem Solving: Diagnose issues quickly and efficiently, providing effective solutions to maintain smooth operation.Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.Inventory Management: Keep track of maintenance supplies and tools, ordering replacements as needed to maintain stock levels.Skills and Experience: Broad Skill Set: Proficient in various trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance.Self-motivated: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.Problem Solver: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.Attention to Detail: High standard of workmanship with a keen eye for detail.Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance role, with a proven track record in property upkeep and repair.Organizational Skills: Good time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing workloads effectively.Driving License: Full, clean driving license is essential.
