Advert Title: Maintenance Technician - Cork, Ireland Advert Text: Job DescriptionThe CNC Maintenance Technician conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of machinery and equipment associated with machine operations.
Responsibilities• Repair CNC Machinery, manual machines, General equipment within the business unit and machining centres.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Use machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
• Identify and replace parts as necessary.
• Complete testing and make adjustments of parts as needed.
• Complete planned and preventative procedures.
• Work based on a sense of urgency with machine down conditions.
• Be able to clearly document all work in the maintenance management system.
Requirements• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Two (2) years' experience in Repair and Maintenance of CNC machinery or other Maintenance/production equipment using a variety of hand tool and diagnostic equipment.
• Fully experienced with all basic hand tools and toolbox.

• Travel will be required from time to time for training and machine F.A.T's.
Experience & Education• High School Diploma or Trade Qualification.
• 2 years' experience in Repair and Maintenance of CNC machinery or other Maintenance/Production equipment using a variety of hand tool and diagnostic equipment.
• Minimum of experience in Lock out Tag out and Arc Flash Safety.
• Fully experienced with all basic hand tools and toolbox.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical procedures.
• Ability to read part manuals, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
• Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak clearly and effectively with groups of customers or employees of organization.
Working PatternMonday to Thursday 7 am to 3:30 pm, Friday 7 am to 2:30 pm.
