Maintenance Technician Join a respected manufacturing company located in Drogheda, Co Louth, Ireland, as Perform Recruitment seeks a proficient Maintenance Technician .
This full-time, permanent role offers an immediate commencement, allowing you to become an integral part of a dynamic team.
About the Role: As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibility lies in the upkeep, repair, and supervision of machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment.
Your main objective is to ensure uninterrupted operation of machinery and minimise potential downtimes.
Proficiency in manufacturing machinery, equipment repair, and electrical systems is crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
Identify and address mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues through necessary repairs.
Collaborate with the production team to enhance efficiency and reduce equipment downtime.
Execute machinery installation, disassembly, and relocation tasks as needed.
Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of maintenance activities.
Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing setting.
Sound understanding of machinery and mechanical systems.
Familiarity with electrical systems, including troubleshooting capabilities.
Experience with pneumatics is a plus.
Possession of a FAS mechanical diploma is required.
A relevant trade certificate is advantageous.
Preferred experience with packaging equipment in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Strong dedication to health and safety standards.
Proficiency in English.
Details: Full-time permanent position.
Night shifts.
Competitive hourly rate ranging from 20 to 24 euros (Based on Experience).
Immediate start.
