Maintenance Technician

A vacancy now exists for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team at The Jelly Bean Factory, Blanchardstown, Dublin. Job demands/Responsibility In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have: Electro-mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic fault finding to production equipment and site plant and services. Support and carry out preventive, predictive and unplanned maintenance routines. Be supportive to production in achieving daily targets. Ensure all breakdowns are carried out swiftly and in an efficient, safe and hygienic manner. Co-operate and participate in training and development. Update and maintain all maintenance works and spares records. Competences: Flexible. Good problem solving skills. Ability to manage scheduled tasks. Drive and energy to deliver results. Strong coaching and development skills. Solution oriented, excellent problem solving skills with a pro-active and forward thinking mind-set. PC skills with a good knowledge of CMMS, Office, and Excel. Health and safety driven acting in a way which promotes and develops safe ways of working. Resilient with an ability to make sound decisions, communicate and operate under pressure. Must possess mechanical time served apprenticeship with junior and senior trades or equivalent. Strong technical understanding of how manufacturing machinery, systems and processes operate, Ideally in food/beverage industry.
