Perform Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a well-established manufacturing company based in Ireland, Co Louth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start.
Role Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment.
Your primary focus will be ensuring the machinery's smooth operation and minimizing downtime.
The role requires expertise in manufacturing machinery, machinery repair, and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring their optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues, and perform necessary repairs.
Collaborate with the production team to minimize equipment downtime and improve efficiency.
Install, dismantle, and relocate machinery as required.
Follow health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Requirements: Strong knowledge of machinery and mechanical systems.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing machine factory.
Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Experience with pneumatics would be advantageous.
Possession of a FAS mechanical diploma is essential.
A trade certificate in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.
Experience with packaging equipment in an FMCG environment is highly desirable.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Health and safety conscious.
Fluent in English.
Contract Details: Full-time permanent position.
22/24 euros per hour.
