Midleton Park Hotel, part of the Talbot Collection, are currently recruiting for a fulltime, experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.
  The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the Hotel, Leisure Centre and Car Park.
To implement a cost effective, energy efficient and preventative maintenance plan for external and internal facilities and ensure a safe working environment for all employees and to maintain a high standard of repair throughout the property at all times.

Come experience it for yourself and join our team.    Main duties: To manage maintenance schedules and budgets.
Delivering planned and property maintenance.
To liaise with the General Manager to prioritise on a daily basis maintenance work to be completed.
Responsible for ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
Responsible for all external maintenance to include and manage the upkeep of carpark, Leisure Centre, hotel and surrounding areas.
To deal with internal and external queries in a professional and friendly manner.
Recording daily maintenance activities.
Running an efficient repairs reporting system.
Responding quickly to emergencies.
Running a preventive maintenance program that will minimize service in the long run.
To ensure a high standard of service and attention to detail within hotel.
Ensure the storage areas are kept in a clean, tidy and safe condition To take a proactive involvement in Health and Safety, ensuring to report and where possible act on incidents, accidents or damage in the Hotel.
Proactively bring any suggestions or ideas to management's attention   The successful candidate will have: Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage.
