Job Description We are seeking skilled and proactive Maintenance Technicians to support the maintenance and repair of equipment and systems within our client's production facility.
This role requires a strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations, along with the ability to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure smooth operations on critical systems.
The technicians will work independently on tasks of varying complexity, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the production environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and systems, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety and GMP standards.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, replace defective components, and perform repairs using electronic tools and detailed documentation (diagrams, manuals, specifications, etc.
).Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and preventative tasks.Use a variety of hand, power, and test tools to perform routine maintenance tasks.Provide general maintenance support across different production areas, including packaging and other critical systems.Collaborate with supervisors to coordinate maintenance schedules for critical systems and equipment.Revise and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve maintenance practices and compliance.Ensure all maintenance activities align with safety regulations, GMPs, and company policies.Respond to emergency maintenance issues and provide after-hours support as needed.Utilize Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management systems to document and track maintenance activities.Perform multi-shift work when required to support production schedules.Communicate effectively with team members and management to address maintenance concerns.Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.Diploma or equivalent.Current Leaving Certificate and Trades Certificate preferred.
– (Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical)Solid understanding of GMPs and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in using electronic equipment, hand tools, power tools, and maintenance software.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify deviations from standard procedures.Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Knowledge of maintenance systems, methods, and procedures.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Flexibility to work multi-shifts or respond to emergency situations as required.If you are a skilled technician with a passion for maintenance and troubleshooting, we encourage you to apply for this dynamic and rewarding opportunity.
