KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with the team of Accountants who prepare and maintain detailed cost models for a large range of manufactured, third party and part processed pharmaceutical products.Gain a detailed knowledge of the products, processes and associated aspects relating to the production of the various medical and veterinary pharmaceutical forms.Liaise with multiple department SME's to gather key data and confirm correct assumptions used in compiling cost models for new products in R&D pipeline and contract manufacture opportunities.Monitor changes in cost drivers and calculate impact to individual product ranges.Perform periodic standard cost updates.Monthly material supplier pricing movement review.Monthly material cost of sales review.Detailed analysis of direct labour and overhead.Inventory reconciliation and reporting. Work with various departments to drive effective management of stock. Review ageing, stock turn measures, etc.Participate in regular cycle counting and annual stock count.Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.Continually develop and improve professional skills, competences and business knowledge.Continuously review and improve finance processes, systems and procedures to drive measurable improvements in outputs, productivity and quality of information produced.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Minimum 2 years relevant industry experience.Strong analytical, reporting and problem solving skills.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels within the business.Organisation skills and ability to prioritise competing demands.Flexible, supportive team member.Good level of business acumen, ability to identify potential issues, evaluate outcomes and propose solutions.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Health & Safety requirements (eg.
