The RoleDue to continuous business growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join the Finance team at Entegro.
This job will be based in our Kilkenny office where we operate a hybrid working policy.
The successful candidate will report to the Group CFO.The Management Accountant role will be a key support to the SMT with direct responsibility for ensuring full regulatory compliance across several jurisdictions in addition to ensuring robust, timely and accurate reporting of financial performance across a range of Survey, Design, Build & Consulting projects.
This role is a full-time requirement with competitive remuneration and benefits.Prior experience within Telecoms, Construction or Engineering is preferred or a strong compliance & reporting background within a mid-large accounting practice. What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
You will need excellent attention to detail, keen risk awareness, strong organisational and communication skills, and an advanced IT capability.
You will have a positive attitude to work and be solution based in your approach to any issues that may arise.Role SpecificationPartnering with Finance colleagues to help drive efficiencies around monthly management accounts (P & L, B Sheet and Cashflow) and other monthly reports.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual project gross margin analysis, including variance commentary and identification of process and cost saving opportunities.Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes.
Responsible for building budgets and cost profiling and analysis.
Variance analysis of budget to actual spend and trend analysis.Implementation and maintenance of a funding and costing model.Ensure highest standard of financial processes, business intelligence, reporting and compliance.Control of tax compliance (Corporate, VAT, PAYE, RCT, CIS & other) across several jurisdictions including Ireland, UK, Poland and USA.
Demonstrable experience of timely and accurate filings to Revenue & HMRC.Monitors and applies relevant legislation, policies and procedures.Conducts regular evaluation of organisational structures and the governance framework.Capability to deal with third party professional services providers on advisory and planning projects with confidence to debrief to senior management.Designs and delivers Key Performance Indicators to support a continuous improvement culture.
Articulates and provides insights into business performance.Business partnering with senior management and board members.
Collaborates cross functionally and provides support with ad hoc value add initiatives.Liaising and preparing workings for the annual audit in support of the external auditors.Responsibility for maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, namely all fixed asset additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation charges.Perform special accounting analysis and projects, as requested.Experienced in IT system implementation and automation initiatives. We are interested to engage with candidates matching the profile belowAccountancy qualification, ACCA, ACA, CIMA.5+ years post qualification experience preferably within an international Group environment.Significant cost accounting experience with mid or large sized company.High level of proficiency with Sage, IT / ERP systems and M/S Excel, Word.
Ability to adapt to and develop financial IT systems.Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills.Strong relationship and stakeholder management experience.
Strategically and commercially aware.Accustomed to an environment meeting all regulatory and statutory obligations on time.Ability to communicate clearly, to be a team member, and a team leader where required.Highly organised, self-motivated with strong attention to detail and professional curiosity.Able to analyse and interpret both financial and non-financial data.
