My client within the Construction industry has a requirement for an experienced management accountant who has worked in a similar industry. About Your New Employer Well establishedStrong work-life balanceVaried roleAbout Your New Job Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements and supporting documentation and reconciliations.Prepare quarterly sectoral profit and loss accounts.Provide general cost and financial accounting assistance.Process payroll.Assist AP function to ensure all costs are being captured and PO book is maintained.Preparation and submission of VAT returns, Vies reports, and Intrastat reports.Completion of CRO surveys.Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports.Assist with monthly and annual stock takes.Assist with year-end process and annual audit.Support Finance Manager and provide cover for team members as required.Undertake any other duties as considered by the company to be within the scope of the role of Management Accountant.What skills you need Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Qualified accountant, finalist, or will consider qualified by experience.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in management accounting, preferably within the construction industry.Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
