Management Accountant My client, an international leader in the FMCG space, is looking to hire a Part Qualified Accountant to join their commercial team as a Management Accountant.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain business partnering experience and would suit someone coming from a practice or industry background.
The role is hybrid, offering health, pension, progression opportunities, and study assistance.
Duties: Lead period-end and in-period financial reporting.Partner with stakeholders for effective accrual management.Manage balance sheet reviews.Raise intercompany invoices and liaise with external stakeholders.Act as key contact for external audits.Prepare period-end accounts, trading contribution analysis, and reconciliations for trade investment and balance sheets.Ensure timely invoice preparation and reconciliation of accounts.Approve promotional activities and manage adjustments and provisions.Provide financial support to Sales/Commercial teams and Finance Control.Perform deep-dive promotion analyses and ad-hoc support to Business Partners.Identify process improvement opportunities.Manage risks, provisions, and prepare audit materials related to investment spend.Qualifications & Skills: Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.Strong understanding of financial principles.Mainline ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
