Job Title: Management AccountantReports To: Senior Finance Manager
Location: Dublin 9
Salary Range: €50,000 - €65,000 per annum, depending on previous verified experience
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business decision-making by preparing accurate financial reports, analysing critical data, and ensuring effective financial planning and control.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning and BudgetingAssist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Monitor and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations to management.Management ReportingProduce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.Cost Analysis and ControlAnalyse and report on cost centres, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.Support cost control initiatives across departments.Compliance and ControlsEnsure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls, as well as developing procedures when necessary.Work with auditors during internal and external audits in collaboration with the Senior Finance Manager.Collaboration and SupportAct as a financial advisor to department heads, providing insights and guidance.Collaborate with the wider finance team on month-end and year-end processes.Key Skills and QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA) required.ExperienceProven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or related roles in industry.Experience in the nursing home sector is a distinct advantage.Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.Experience with accounting software such as Netsuite or Oracle systems.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.What We OfferCompetitive salary range of €50,000 - €65,000, depending on verified experience.Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.How to ApplyIf you meet the qualifications and are eager to join a dynamic team, please submit your resume and cover letter.
