Job Title: Manager
Location: Ballycummin, Limerick
We are looking for an Early Years Manager to ensure that the service is run in a professional manner. The manager will need to ensure the safety of children and staff, providing a loving and safe environment in line with the Early Years and School Aged Childcare Regulations.
Job Description:Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations.Implement, monitor, and adhere to all policies and procedures at all times.Management and support of all staff within the creche.Ensure that all staff receive regular support and supervision.Identify and respond to staff training needs, promoting learning.Communicate regularly with all staff.Maintain records of attendance, annual leave, and sick leave for employees.Conduct Risk Assessments.Complete audits and reports of service.Report to Area Manager and Senior Management Team.Facilitate monthly staff meetings in-house.Report any feedback and concerns to the Area Manager in a timely manner.Keep up-to-date records on all staff, including timesheets, annual leave, and sick leave.Ensure the creche is always delivering high-quality childcare.Promote the concept of diversity, welcoming all families.Always ensure the safety and protection of the children in your care.Promote a work environment of engagement and excellence.Delegate and develop staff where necessary and appropriate.NCS and ECCE Knowledge.Requirements:Professional, competent, and experienced manager.Minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Early Childhood Education and Care.HACCP knowledge.Core Funding and National Programmes knowledge.Better Start / AIM Experience.Able to work collaboratively with other managers, Area Managers, and Senior Management Team.Excellent IT skills.Excellent communication and team building skills.Resilience and leadership skills.Build, develop, and maintain effective teamwork.Provide clear expectations and instructions.Benefits:Job security.Career advancement opportunities internally.Onsite training and continuous professional development.Parking.Employee Initiative Scheme – Refer a Friend Bonus.Salary: Starting €48,000.
